Matt is a Managing Partner of Overland Construction Group (OCG). Matt grew up in the construction industry in a family full of architects and contractors. He has overseen and run construction operations at Overland Property Group, Q5 and now OCG since 2009.

 

He’s directly managed and overseen over $340 million in construction projects from top to bottom. From site inspections, draw requests, GC Contract negotiations, sub-contractor buyouts, lien notices and waivers, scheduling, and all other direct aspects of construction. His control of OPG, Q5 and now OCG construction operations have directly led to the great successes these groups have become known for with quality construction, timing and budget.

 

In addition to his work running OPG and OCG, Matt is very active serving on numerous boards related to development and affordable housing. Matt’s ability to quickly form mutually beneficial relationships, his problem solving skills as wells as his vision make him a crucial part of OCG’s success.

Matt lives in Leawood, Kansas with his wife Julie, their wild boys Miles and Palmer, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Vail. In his spare time, Matt enjoys traveling with his family and relaxing at the lake or beach.
